Well, that certainly didn't end the way we were all hoping. The team that had won 5 games in a row definitely wasn't the team that played this afternoon. I lost count at 13 missed free throws (5 at the front end of 1 and 1's, I think) and the missed layups. Add the refs rewarding every single flop, twitch or whine that Boise did and we were lucky to be that close.

I will be very interested to see how the roster shakes out with 8 coming in now and not 7. I hope Hamilton is coming back, but definitely wouldn't be sad to see Amuri go. I think the team will play much better to start the season with a full offseason to get ready and have a few guys back that know the system.

Go Rebs!!!!

(Bring on spring practice now!!!)

The Rebels were hot entering the tournament so definitely a frustrating game to watch. The effort was there but the production just too inconsistent to escape with the win.

Overall, I like what we have in TJO and think he’ll have this program back where it needs to be.

I think if the players emulate Coach TJO work ethic, UNLV will be right back in the national spotlight in no time. Basketball staff did a great job this year.

I don't see that our resume is anywhere near even a NIT bid, maybe if we had made the championship game with 2 wins over SDSU, but not as a 2 game over 500 team. I think Otz has already said they are not interested in the lesser tournaments too.
