Today we'll see how the team responds. A few key things I'm looking for is the overall energy level, along with how well we can establish the run, and pass protection. On defense I expect we'll try to attack more and apply more pressure than last week but we'll see.

It's simply a must-win game for UNLV, but also for Hawaii. Both teams really need this one. Should be an intense game in front of a sold out Hawaii home crowd. Not going to be easy.

Great run by Jet. Nice hole opened up by the O line

Good interception. Finally making a couple plays on offense and defense to help put this game away.

Great run by Jet. Followed up by a nice interception by Keyes to essentially seal it for UNLV.

Looks like we will be 1-1. It was a grind it out type of game.

Defense looked pretty good but man Hawaii has problems on offense with their QB, might be a sophomore slump. I was surprised Chang stuck with Alejado for the entire game. His throws were way off.

UNLV with 12 road wins since 2024, which is the most in FBS by 2 games (BYU and Oregon have 10)

Below is the list of (only P4) teams since 2024:

10: BYU, Oregon
8: Clemson, Duke, Indiana, Miami (FL), Ohio State, SMU, Utah
7: Alabama, Arizona State, Houston, Iowa State, Louisville, Notre Dame, Penn State, Texas Christian, Texas Tech, Virginia

From 2010 to 2022 these were UNLV’s 12 road wins:

They won a “must win” game tonight!
Not pretty by any means but they gutted it out, offense has some warts and defense seems to be good against Hawaii every year, let’s see how we look against North Texas and Cal before claiming any improvement!

Great win for the Rebels. Wasn't pretty, but good to leave the island with the W and the Pineapple Trophy. UNLV made a couple of big plays right there at the end to put the game away with Jet's run and Keyes' interception. We need more of that type of playmaking ability by players going forward. Record improved to 1-1 helps remove some of the sting from last week.

I’m about done with Mullen ball. His teams are poorly coached, poorly disciplined, his crony coordinators have no business being in their positions. Took him a year and change to tear down what Odom had built.
What did Odom build? Guy bailed on the program during championship week.

He’s collecting 6 million annually to get his rear end beat every week in the BIG.
