A win today would be big. Keep the cannon red and have momentum heading into the offseason. Rivalry week is always a little more special than the rest. Hoping for a Rebel victory.

Nice first half. Aside from committing some penalties, both sides of the ball are playing hard. Now they need to finish strong in the second half to close this game out.

Defensive melt down in the second half with dumb penalties and lack of discipline

#28 for Reno should be thrown out of school for that cowardly sucker punch on Oblad.

Was it actually Jenkins that started the fight at the end?

Jenkins did not conduct himself in the way I would hope, but he did not start it...  this video shows it the best and it all happened behind Jenkins- blind shot to Oblad from reno's Arnold.  I'm sure Oblad had something nice to say to him prior, but no excuse for that!  Then it snowballed... literally out of the stands!

Everyone is naturally pointing fingers at each other but this type of nonsense happens in Reno a lot. In the past their fans have thrown beer bottles, a battery, snow balls. Now they’re grabbing the helmet of UNLV players. Jenkins should not have taunted but the Reno kid ignited the chaos, which had nothing to do with Jenkins.

As for the Reno folks in the bleachers, UNR is a different breed of fans who take this rivalry personal. They resent Vegas and don’t cope well with the cannon staying red.

During the game the officials missed a huge targeting penalty on Oblad.

There is no place in College football for the ghetto street tactics displayed by #28 on Saturday.
I doubt Oblad said anything directly at Arnold, the kid was just celebrating a walk off home run.

And

The UNLV players had the right defending their QB in that situation.

UNR fans you have my permission to go huff some blue spray paint.
